Bingham County Mayors Scholarship

The Bingham County Mayors Scholarship committee is pleased to announce a scholarship for graduating high school seniors residing or attending any school in Bingham County who plan on continuing their education at any accredited college/university, including technical and vocational programs. The Bingham County Mayors Scholarship will be awarded under the direction of the Bingham County Mayors Scholarship Selection Committee.

Applications

The 2021 season is now over. The Bingham County Mayors Scholarship Selection Committee has formally evaluated 59 applicants. In total, $21,000 will be awarded to 42 applicants. These awards went to students from Bingham County high schools, to include Aberdeen, Blackfoot, Firth, Shelley, Sho-Ban, and Snake River, as well as an Idaho Virtual Academy student. 

All monetary support is a direct result of Bingham County Mayors Scholarship contributions made by the general public and the following corporate sponsors: Bingham Memorial, Cox’s Honey, Idaho Central Credit Union, Idaho National Laboratory, Lookout Credit Union, Odell’s Furniture, Premier Technology, Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, and The Candy Jar, as well as proceeds from our endowment fund.

 All scholarships will be awarded at the annual Bingham County Mayors Scholarship Awards Gala, scheduled for April 29, 2021 at 7:00pm at the Nuart Theatre, 195 N Broadway in Blackfoot.
