Wastewater Treatment Plant
Welcome to the City of Blackfoot’s Wastewater Treatment Plant Department (WWTP) or Sewer Department. This department service the sewer systems within the City, Groveland Water and Sewer District, Moreland Water and Sewer District, and a few residences and businesses outside of these areas. The system consists of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, the sewer lines, the lift stations, and the storm water lines.

The River Ranger program is designed to be presented by environmental educators to inform the public (children and adults) about how they impact water quality through their use of sewer and storm systems.
The presentation and activity book are designed to provide the fundamentals of clean water in a manner that incorporates active group and individual participation as well as take home activities.
This interactive environmental education program teaches about the water cycle, watersheds, pollution prevention, water conservation and wastewater treatment. The program is geared towards 3rd grade students but can be adapted as necessary. Approximately 45 minute presentation.
