Effective Friday, December 4, 2020 and in observance of protocols that have been established, the Mayor has determined that there will be changes to the way City-sponsored Boards, Commissions and Committees are conducted. At this time, in-person meetings of no more than ten (10) individuals that allow for social distancing of at least six (6) feet will be permitted. If social distancing is not possible, coverings (masks) for the nose and mouth must be worn. All meetings should offer a hybrid option of conference calling and virtual meeting capability, as some individuals may not be able to attend in-person regardless of meeting size. However, if appropriate, the Boards and Commissions may choose to meet solely via virtual meeting service. This protocol will be evaluated on a regular basis and changes will be communicated through press release, the City's web site and social media platforms.
Individuals on each of these Boards are engaged in functions that are extremely valuable to our City but, at this time, we want to ensure - as much as possible - the safety and well-being of our Board, Commission and Committee members, their families and the Public.
