[ARCHIVED] City Purchases New Pumper Truck

This is a picture of Blackfoot Engine 2 as well as some of the City Firefighters

The pumper truck, ordered in October 2017 from Rosenbauer America, took over 12 months to build and measures up at approximately 40 feet in length and 35,000 pounds.  One of the great benefits of the pumper, that was delivered on January 2 and put into service on January 7, 2019, is that it allows all of the Firefighters to sit in the cab together, enabling them to communicate effectively prior to arriving on scene, thus making them more effective and efficient once they arrive.  In addition, all of the air bottles are accessible from the cab, providing for more safety for our First Responders.
